The Canva whiteboard is free online whiteboard and collaboration tool, that allows you to expand your presentation page to a whiteboard, which is conducive to collaboration or presenting to your team.
How to Create a Canva Whiteboard
1. Select the Whiteboard Option From Canva Homepage
You can see the Whiteboard option on the Homepage itself. If you don’t see the option, you can also type it in the Search bar option.
2. Select Blank Whiteboard Template
After selecting a blank whiteboard, you can see lots of template ideas on the left panel.
3. Edit and Move Elements in Your Design
You can see that every element is editable and movable.
4. Add Elements to Whiteboard
If you go to the elements option, you can see some whiteboard specific elements, such as sticky notes and whiteboard stickers.
5. Add Sticky Notes and Text
If you want to add sticky notes, you can just click on them from elements and start writing on them. You can edit the text as well. You can change the font, font color, or font size. You can also change the color of the sticky note.
6. Add Shapes and Create Charts in Your Whiteboard
You can also use shapes and lines to create charts. If you click on the plus sign on the edges of the shape, it will automatically generate a chart with a similar shape.
7. Add Boarders to Your Chart Elements
You can also add the borders to your chart elements and define the width and weight of the border.
8. Add GIFs
You can also use the GIF option to add funny and relatable GIFs to your whiteboard to make it more fun.
9. Download Some or All of Your Whiteboard
If you want to download only some parts of your whiteboard, you can select the section and click on the three dots to select the option ‘Download Selection’.
10. Collaborate with Team
If you want to collaborate with your team, you can click on the plus icon on the top bar and share the whiteboard with your team members.
11. Leave Comments
You can also comment on your thoughts and tag your team members to react to them with the Comment element.
12. Add Timer
You can also add a timer for a specific activity while collaborating with your team.
