Great graphic design is powered by great font selection. But picking great fonts is a challenge most people. Luckily, Canva has made adding great fonts to your designs much easier. In this tutorial, our team of design experts will cover the best premium fonts in Canva.
What Are Premium Canva Fonts?
Premium fonts are the fonts that are only accessible to paid Canva users.
To see which fonts are free and which Canva fonts are only accessible to paid Canva users, open a Canva design, add some text, and click on the font drop down menu, which will open a larger font menu in the left-hand side bar:
You can now scroll through the entire list of Canva fonts.
So how do you know which fonts are only available for premium Canva users?
Fonts with a crown icon (♛) to the right of a font, are premium Canva fonts. Paid Canva users also have access to all the “free Canva fonts” too.
For example, as illustrated in the screenshot below, Alta is a free Canva font (there is no premium icon beside the font text). In contrast, Afrah is a paid Canva font (with the crown icon (♛) next to the name of the font).
